Machine Control Options The Knelson Concentrator is designed with flexibility in mind, so Knelson offers three choices of automation to increase the efficiency and security of the KC-CD and the KC-XD models. Knelson also offers a variety of Control Options to run the Knelson Concentrator along with Static Screen Hoppers and other accessories specifically designed to provide a complete turn key gravity recovery system. As the industry leader in centrifugal concentrators, Knelson is also leading the way with the on-going development of ancillary equipment to provide complete centrifugal concentration solutions. Control Features comparison between the KC-ICS y KC-ICSjunior Automation is not required to operate a Knelson Concentrator but for security, reliability and lower operating costs some mining facilities prefer the advantages offered by using an automated Knelson Concentrator.
	The Knelson Concentrator Independent Control System the KC-ICS has been developed to provide reliable, trouble-free and completely automatic operation of the Knelson CD or XD Concentrator equipped with the Knelson Concentrator Automated Piping (KC-AP). It offers state of the art control of all process functions and can be utilized in any type of Knelson Concentrator installation. This system employs a user-friendly colour Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) touch screen interface connected to a powerful Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) to control all operational functions. In addition, the KC-ICS provides extensive data logging, maintenance scheduling, multi-level security access and troubleshooting features. You can also integrate the KC-CD or KC-XD directly into a mine Distributive Control System without losing any control features offered by the KC-ICS.
The Knelson Concentrators Independent Control System Junior (KC-ICSjunior)
	Knelson Concentrators now offers the ICSjunior automatic package. The ICSjunior includes solid state components and a fully programmable logic controller, giving the unit the same durability as the ICS. The ICSjunior uses a PLC to provide all the features: operating pressure high shutdown, motor overload shutdown, security access functions, can output data to mill computer system, updateable system program and custom programming for special needs. Also the ICSjunior can be retro-fitted onto any existing Knelson CD o XD machine that is equipped with manual piping.
